Christ's sake, this is killing me, it's so beautiful! The golden shimmer at the bottom is the cherry on top... Wow, I'm speechless!

Ah whoa this is excellent. That foliage is to die for. It's nice to see you dabble into a softer style :)

BTW, I'd really like to know how you did it, your workflow. Most of the time when I see paintings I know how they did it (not saying I could do it :D) but here I have no clue.

Thank you very much man im glad you like it... basically... i did a few simple lines/strokes just to give a rough composition and layout... then i painted everything you see here in very very basic colours and lighting... just blotches on the canvas. from that point onwards... i worked from 'distance'. I started detailing the pale blue background... followed by the bushes and trees around the central distance from the view point. Then... painted in the two trees and groundwork you see closest... so i kind of painted it in three layers so to speak... and then i just added in the lighting at the end giving it some atmosphere and life :)

I only really painted it on one layer so i cant show WIP's... i have one wip from around 30-40 minutes into it

Hope that has helped in some way :)

Eyedropping is where you pick a colour from the reference and use that colour to paint with. :)
